We treated ourselves to Apple TV Gen 4 64 GB for Christmas and during set up we found that we had to enter our DirecTV as "our provider" in order to see apps? Apps like Discovery Channel and National Geographic for example. We were hoping to get rid of DirecTV all together! Do have to have a cable provider for Apple TV for our favorite channels (now apps on Apple TV) to work?
