Aspect Ratio Display Fix

I use a Samsung TV as my Display: Whilst using garage band I managed to press a certain set of key commands, completely unbeknownst to me, and reset the aspect ratio of my screen. I now have a square display in my rectangle screen which has conveniently smashed everything extra close together also.

Does anyone know how a simple command, or what I may have accidentally pressed, to get my screen back into the correct aspect ratio?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), iOS 9.2

Have you checked the Displays control panel?

I did indeed. I actually got this to work by just using the TV remote and changing the TV aspect ratio manually.

Although I was convinced it was internal to how my mac was projecting, based on the fact that keyboard commands allowed me to change the aspect ratio, I was able to resolve it using the TV's remote.
