Q: Apple TV 4 - Radio won't play after I have been playing music from my library or Apple Music.

After I have been playing music from either my library or Apple Music, when I select the Radio function, it just continues to play the song I was listening to previously and won't play the Radio. The only way I can play the Radio after I have been listening to my own music is to restart the Apple TV 4 and then select Radio - then it plays fine!

 

I don't think this is so much a fix from my end, rather more a bug for Apple to fix in their next update.

    Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.
     

    It looks like you have to restart your Apple TV in order to start playing radio stations after you've already started listening to music.
     

    Restarting your device is a good troubleshooting step. Since the same thing continues to happen, I'd also recommend that you Restore your Apple TV to the factory settings. This can resolve the situation if it's isolated to your specific device.
     

    If you see the same behavior after restoring your Apple TV, please let us know.
