Q: iPod won't work with iTunes

My IPod touch with iTunes was working fine last time I synced it. Today, I was trying to add some new CDs and it would either synch half of the songs or none at all. I have heard that resetting doesn't solve this problem. Any other solutions?

What computer OS and version?
If a PC then:
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later

Next backup and to iTunes and restore from backup

Yes, I do have a PC. Is there any way to save all my downloaded CDs from iTunes to a flashdrive or a computer, ect?

I have this same problem. all songs were there until I recently synced some new music....now i have CDs with only a few songs as opposed to the whole album I had before the sync. and just a few weeks ago I reinstalled iTunes. This is a friggin' annoyance and royal pain in the a$$!! I'm hoping there is another solution that doesn't include ANOTHER reinstall. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
