Dec 31, 2015 12:56 AM in response to stankeyleg176by Ethmoid,To get the latest version of iTunes, you need to update the OS on your MacBookPro from Mavericks to at least Yosemite or preferably El Capitan.
If you update to El Capitan, then you can get the latest version of iTunes.
