What disk are you trying to repair? What seems to be the problem that is prompting you to repair it?

I did find and run repair disk in disk utility everything appears to be ok. Still runs slow , I guess the only thing left for me to do is upgrade the RAM? Any other suggestions? I am running OSX 10.4
