Q: I can't add a card to my wallet for Apple Pay yet the issuer is listed by Apple Pay.

I can't add a card to my wallet for Apple Pay yet the issuer is listed by Apple Pay. I also can't remove an existing expired card from my Wallet. It's not even shown until I attempt to add another card. Then it asks for the CCID which I don't know (the card was canceled years ago). It also doesn't accept the new card saying, "not supported by issuer" or something to that effect. I've called the bank and they stated they do have support Apple Pay and have people using it.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2

    Hi

Not all cards that are issued by a participating bank are necessarily supported for use with Apple Pay.

Unsupported cards may include, for example, cards that are connected with a business account or cards issued to cardholders of certain ages (eg under 18s).

Contact your bank again to check whether your specific card is supported for Apple Pay.
