Q: I upgraded to El Caoitan. Why does iMovies constantly quit unexpectantly before I try to use it?

I own a 2013 model Macbook Pro. It comes with a 512 GB SSD, 16 gigs of  1600 MHz DDR3, Graphic card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB;

and a 15" monitor. I recently upgraded to El Capitan OS. Why does my IMovies app constantly crash everytime I try to open it?I thought I upgraded El Capitan also. Is there a driver that I did not install?
