Q: My WIFI and 4G are not working with specific apps even though I have access to both?
After doing the new update, the apps on my phone are not connected to my 4G or home WIFI network. I have tried resetting my phone, but the problem is persisting. I am still able to text and call, but this is using my data even when I am at home. I am not sure how to fix this. Could this have anything to do with a new app that appeared in my settings: (null)?

Hello Mia,
I understand that you are having multiple issues with your apps and connecting to data. You are also seeing an option for Null in the Settings app. To me it sounds like you need to restore your iPhone. Let's go over how to do that and then sync thing back over.
I would start with checking for updates on your iPhone. This will include looking in the App Store as well as in Settings > General > Software Update. If it is all goo there, then you will want to transfer any purchases to iTunes to have a safe copy of them. Once that is done, you will reset your iPhone in Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Let it finish and then start downloading or syncing the apps one at a time to test them out. If it works, you can expedite and sync the rest of the content back in.
After erasing and setting up as a new device, your device is now in a factory configuration. Re-try what you were trying when you first found the issue to determine if erasing and setting up as a new device resolved the issue. Content on the device might have caused the unexpected behavior.
- If the issue persists, you might want to contact Apple Support.
- If the issue is resolved, sync one type of content at a time back to your device. For example, if you had an issue playing music, add songs from iTunes and confirm that they will play. If your contacts weren't loading successfully, add the contacts back. After each sync, test to see if the issue has returned.
Take a look at the article below for more in depth details on how to do this.
