I understand that your iPad is getting warm when you use it with some applications. This can be normal when the device is charging or in use. For further information about keeping your iOS device within acceptable operating temperatures, please read over the following article.
When using the device or charging the battery, it is normal for it to get warm. The exterior of the device functions as a cooling surface that transfers heat from inside the device to the cooler air outside.
