Why doesn't my devices recognize each other in bluetooth?

I was thinking that the Retina iMac (early 2015) iPad Air 1 and the 6sPlus should recognize each other via Bluetooth? Now of course everything is connected to iCloud and while all three devices "see" one another, none of them will "pair". I suppose there is a simple reason but I can not seem to find the answer on Apple support nor searching on the 'net.

The reason for this other than thinking the devices should see each other is that some appointments in Calendar on my Mac do not show up in Calendar on either i devices. I know the system is communicating via iCloud, I've even signed out of iCloud on ALL devices and signed back in to get them to communicate, yet still some appointments do not show up. Even if the same day has multiple appointments. Perhaps, I need to post this question elsewhere in the community.

Any thoughts?

Yeah I think your dead on right. But continuity is supposed to allow whatever is on one device to show up on all other devices. As long as your signed in to the same account. Thanks dude!
