Q: Setting up calendar

I want to see and share ONE calendar on our imac, two iphones and an ipad. I've tried setting icloud as the default and turning off Yahoo, but I don't get the same choices on all four devices. I'm getting multiple errors every time I open Calendar on the desktop saying "The server responded with an error. The event "  " was rejected by Yahoo because it already exists."

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Thanks for info but still need help. Currently, my wife & I have our iphones and ipad Settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars set to icloud calendar ON & Default calendar set to "Home". However, our iMac desktop is set to icloud "Calendar" (not Home or Work); Yahoo calendars are unchecked; Other birthdays are unchecked, US Holidays are checked; Found in Mail is unchecked but keeps re-checking itself. I would change the iMac icloud calendar to "Home" to match the other devices but all my calendar events were set in "Calendar" and I don't know how to copy everything to "Home" before I uncheck "Calendar". Will this get all four devices using the same calendar of events?

    Hi hank3333,

It sounds like you have quite a bit more going on here. You might be better served by using another one of Apple's support resources where you can directly explain your setup- https://getsupport.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action.

    Best regards.

Thanks. I found the published info about calendars confusing so I ended up using an Apple support chat session. We chose "Calendar" on my iMac as the master calendar then shared it privately with the other devices which choose it as the default calendar. It seems to be working.
