Trackpad and keyboard are not working after upgrading to Windows 10 in Boot Camp on MacBook Pro early 2011. So, I'm unable to enter password. How can I login? Can I go back to Windows 8?

1. You can power down your Mac and power it back up and hold the Alt/Option key.
2. You can also run the following to procedures to reset the default OS.
3. If you are using a 2010 Mac to run W10, officially Apple does not support the combination. Macs older than 2012 are not supported for W10.

This is helpful to open the Mac side and everything is working there. I'm not able to login and open the Boot Camp side, which is what I'd like to do and then try to get the trackpad to work. Any ideas that would enable entering a password when the Windows 10 "Welcome" screen comes up?
BC6 drivers will not work on a 2011 MBP. Can you use Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support and install the latest 5.x drivers appropriate for your Mac model? To clarify, are your built-in keypad/trackpad not working or are these external BT ones that do not work?

Thanks again. I'm trying to use the built-in keypad and trackpad - neither work on the Boot Camp side. No BT keyboard or mouse connected. Can I install Windows 7 now, after installing Windows 10? Can Windows 7 be installed from the OSX side of the drive?
If you do not need to preserve any Windows data, you can use BC Assistant, remove Windows, and install a new copy of W7. If you need to back up files (not your applications), you can copy them from the OS X Finder to an external back up drive.
