Q: Can I start a family music plan with my siblings, and have each individual pay for purchases seperately?

I Want to purchase a family music subscription for iTunes to share with my siblings. I was wondering if it was possible to do so and still have each member be responsible for their own purchases. I want to share a music subscription, but I don't want to pay for their app purchases, music purchases, or any apple purchases for that matter. Is this a possibility or am I dreaming?

    Hi TMill41,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! While it is possible for individual members of a Family Sharing group to pay for their own purchases via gift cards or credits, any charges above and beyond that will automatically be billed to the Organizer's credit card on file by design, as outlined in that same article:

    Making purchases

After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account, unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card. As the family organizer, any receipts generated by the transaction will be sent to you. Learn more about how iTunes Store purchases are billed.
