removing photos from new mac book pro

MacBook Pro with Retina display; OSX 10.11

iPhone 5S , version 9.2


Somehow, all the photos from my iphone were transferred to my new MacBook Pro. I don't want them all on the new computer, since they take up lots of room. I don't even know what I did to cause this to happen. Please let me know how I can get rid of my of these photos that are on my new MacBook Pro.

I'm not familiar with Iphones. So someone else would have to answer that question. As far as deleting them from the MBP. That should not delete from the Iphone. As then if the MBP was off there would be no photos on the Iphone. http://www.idownloadblog.com/2015/02/12/how-to-transfer-photos-from-iphone-or-ip ad-to Read this and then go down to the bottom of the link and click on saving your photos.
