Q: The time on my Ipod won't change while its locked, Wifi disconnects randomly, Screen will turn green and red and restart whole IPod.

Okay so this issue started about two days ago. I noticed that my time was off so I went to the settings> General> Date and Time. I changed the time correctly but when I locked it and got off of it for a few minutes, it was still the same when I changed it. For example: This morning I changed my time back to the correct time which was 10:41 a.m. 20 minutes later and it was still stuck on 10:41 a.m. The time will only work correctly if I am constantly on my IPod and do not lock it. I really need to use the alarm when I wake up in the mornings! I have tried everything to solve this problem but nothing seems to be working. Resetting my IPod does not even help it.

This issue also started two days ago. I noticed that the wifi on my IPod touch 5th gen will disconnect while an app is opened, but then when I close it it connects back. This is only on my IPod but not my IPad. It is quite annoying. I have also tried resetting my router but it still disconnects.

The last issue happened just yesterday. Again, I was trying to set my time correctly when all of a sudden the top half of my screen turns red and the bottom half turns green. The screen then goes to black and my whole IPod restarts.

Thank you for the help. :-)

    Try:

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

    - Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Thank you! Restoring everything helped it with the time and the wifi has not been messing up. :-)
