Does the iPhone 5 have fingerprint scanning on the home button?

IF you have a 5s, then yes. You can also findout by going to security in settings, and it should say "fingerprint scan" or something like that. Also you can tell if you can scan your finger by seeing if your home button has a round square on it. If it has a round square, then you cannot scan your finger( if i doesnt then you can)

No, the iPhone 5 does not.

The 5s, 6/6 plus and 6s/6s plus do.
