Printing double-sided pages using Pages

How can I print double-sided pages using Pages? (My printer is capable and set to offer that option, but Pages does not present that option.)

The ability to print duplex (two-sided) is in the OS X Print panel, not in Pages. Pages File menu : Print… and adjacent to the copies window is a check box for Two-Sided. You then decide from the Layout selection, how those Two-Sided pages are to appear: Long-Edge binding (default), or Short-Edge binding.

Thank you for your help. I was able, per your directions, to get the two-sided checkbox option to appear in Pages again. And I've done this before. This option seems to not persist, however. It keeps disappearing on me. I did exit Pages, to test this out, re-opened it, and this time the two-sided option was still there. I'll keep watching it.

I wonder if it's necessary to set the print option through the Pages File menu, as you suggested, and not just from the System Preferences, Printers and Scanners menu, as I had before, when it seemed to not carry over into Pages.

I'll keep experimenting, but thank you for helping me get it going again. 🙂
