macbook air fullscreen mode keeps stopping

watching videos on full screen on my late 2013 macbook air and it keeps exiting full screen mode and saying "click to exit full screen mode"....as it does when you receive and incoming FaceTime call ....any ideas?

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)
