i set up Apple Pay and registered a number of cards. Even received t&cs from my bank.
Went to use the other day all smug like only to discover all the card details were no longer in Wallet! Anyone know why and why i should bother setting up again if so unreliable.

After adding cards to Apple Pay on your device, taking certain other actions will cause them to be removed automatically - such as turning off Passcode, placing an iPhone or iPad in Lost Mode or marking an Apple Watch as missing (an Activation Lock feature).

thanks for the reply, all makes sense, however i didn't do any of those things. I think maybe there was an IOS update, would that knock them out?

Signing out of iCloud on your device also automatically removes cards from Apple Pay (this is a security feature), but installing an iOS update would not do so.
Bingo, over Xmas hols i finally sat down and sorted my wife's and childrens Family sharing accounts, I can't remember for sure if i logged out out of iCloud, but there was certainly a lot of paying around in this space so it's very possible i did at some point.
