Jan 23, 2016 3:38 PM in response to Old Toadby gterpen125,Well that was it. I have been trying to delete from albums. This seems like the long way around to delete photos. Personally I liked iPhoto much better.
But I will remember the command/delete option from here on out. Or at least until someone in Ca. decides to change it again.
Thank you for helping me this was getting very aggravating for me!

Jan 23, 2016 7:28 PM in response to gterpen125by LarryHN,Since no one has ever changed this I doubt that they will "again" - this is the way Photos has worked since its release just over a year ago - no change ever

Sep 23, 2016 4:26 PM in response to neoflyerby leefromflorence,I have the same question and was told to go to "file" and in the drop down there is "recently deleted". The tutorial shows it toward the bottom of the list. However, in my system the drop down is essentially the same except that the bottom section does not appear. So where is the recently deleted tab?

Sep 30, 2016 7:29 PM in response to neoflyerby Janet W. Brunk,Time Machine would only help you in the future. Is your Mac set up with Time Machine? If so you should be able to get the deleted files that way. Click the Time Machine icon in the dock. Then go back to before you deleted the files, they are probably still available. f you don't have a Time Machine backup yet, then your best option would probably be uFlysoft Data Recovery for Mac
