reset to Yosemite factory settings

Thank you for your helpful instructions. I want to reset to factory settings and I do not want to have my latest operating system. My Mac Book Pro came with Yosemite and I installed El Capitan and would like to get rid of it. I don't have anything on my laptop that I have to save.

How can I reset to factory settings and not have the latest operating system?
