How can I import DNG files to the iPad?

I just tried an iPad pro in the Store. I came with an SD card with Jpegs and DNG's. (for the unknowing, .DNG is the RAW extension from Adobe that is used by many camera's, notably Leica).

The DNGs were imported using Photos. But the Photo's app on the iPad can't read the DNG's. It displays the thumbnail (very low resolution). If this is not supported, how can I use it? Otherwise I won't buy the iPad of course.

Would the Lightroom app help?

I can use the Lightroom app, but also installed another app: Photoraw, to see and evaluate the DNG. Photoraw has a slow interface, but it can import the DNGs and then generate Jpegs in a very high quality from the DNG (can be done in a batch process); then Photos can immediately see these in full quality.

By the way, I have never needed to discard the thumbnails (as far as I know these are part of the DNG file).

What I in fact do now is import to iPad, converts wome to JPG, and then with a later ipad-usb connector and the applicatipon Photol;oader (or whatever it is called in english), and then copy "all" DNG & JPG to my iMac. So any JPG-only (and often I choose just that setting) and all DNG, and all DNG plus any converted JPG all get transferred to the desktop; I delete what gets copied (import setting).

Works as a charm.

What I want to retain though should be imported separately, because the delete parameter/tick box works for the whole imprt.

I can [also] copy back by the way to the ipad, for display; copy those files to an SD card; and then the files have to "look like" an original camera file and have to be placed in a DSRC file on the card and follow the camera naming convention - just files on a root do not get 'recognized' by the photos import app of the ipad.. ..
