I wanted to create a bootable windows usb drive from my macbook air 13 inch early 2015 version. But there is no "Select Task" option in Bootcamp. Bootcamp directly takes me to disk partitioning option and starts installing windows on my mac. There is no "select Task" option. What should I do?

On the 2015 Models/El Capitan, all those options have been removed. On a 2012 MBP, using ELC, they are still available. If you still need to create a bootable USB, use diskpart or Rufus. The BC drivers downloaded by BCA are very specific to your Mac and model. You should not use such an installer on a different Mac model till you verify that the hardware is close enough to use the installer.
1. You can still download BC drivers to a USB.
2. You will be prompted for a location of the ISO. There is no need to copy the ISO to a USB manually. BCA will integrate the ISO and BC drivers and create the OSXRESERVED to install Windows. Please see the prior link for BCA.
I Do not get the "select task" screen. whenevr i click continue in the introduction screen it dorectly takes me to the partition screen. I do not want to install Windows in mac but i just want to create a bootable usb drive.
On your specific model, BCA creates a bootable partition called OSXRESERVED, which can be copied to a USB. It is a pain to try and copy it though.
You can get Windows USB installers from Microsoft directly using a Windows PC and Media Creation Tool. You can also use a Mac already running Windows to do the same.

BUt why dont i get the "select task" screen? I want to create a bootable usb. I need to burn the iso file in the usb. But i dont get any select task screen

You cannot use Apple software to create a USB Installer on a 2015 Mac.
