mouse. scrolling up: page goes down. scrolling down: nothing happens.

If I scroll with mouse upwards, page moves down and if I try to scroll down with mouse, nothing happens.

Reset via SMC didn't help.

Don't no how to reset via NVRAM (if that might solve the problem).

Can someone help please?

Howdy nanni1952,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I understand correctly, there's an issue with the mouse that you're using with your iMac not scrolling as expected. If you haven't already, try taking a look at the article linked below and running through the troubleshooting tips that it provides.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for your reply,

Unfortunately the problem hasn't been solved.

My mouse is the classic wireless one.

If I try to scroll down, nothing happens on my iMac screen (scrolling works if I try it on the right side of the screen of my iMac).

Scrolling up on the mouse results in going down of the page on the iMac.

I have no clue whether my mouse-settings on the iMac are ok.

I don't think that there is something wrong with my mouse, but that the settings are no longer the right one.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks a lot and take care.
