Jan 2, 2016 4:49 PM in response to ChitlinsCCby pamgfl,THank you for sharing so I can give up trying. Bummer as there are a few applications that are still much better on the PC that I still use.
Happy New Year

Jan 2, 2016 4:57 PM in response to pamgflby ChitlinsCC,You're welcome. It has really been so since the beginning of Apple... they used proprietary connectors and technologies for decades - then adopted common ones - it then appears that they reversed course a tad with Thunderbolt & Lightning to keep out the riff-raff, so to speak.
It really does seem strange that Somebody hasn't come up with adaptive technology, but would probably have cost you and arm & a leg, by which time you could run out to WalMart and grab a perfectly fine external display/TV for the same price ( H I N T )
Good Luck and Happy New Year.
