MacBook makes a ticking noise and won't turn on

HI everyone,

I have a MacBook that has worked perfectly fine untill now. When I plug in my power adapter into my MacBook, it makes a ticking noise and won't turn on. When I unplug it the ticking noise stops. I have tried resetting the SMS and PRAM, I have also tried moving outlets, using a different power adapter, none of these seem to work. It's a MacBook Pro with a non removable battery.
