Q: Question about using with Beats wireless headphones

I have a 7G Nano and am using it with a new pair of Beats Studio Wireless headphones. I did the initial bluetooth pairing and have used the headphones with the Nano a couple times in the gym with good results. But each time I have fumbled with buttons and settings getting the music playing. I read instructions in the Nano manual; also read Beats instructions but they are not very clear.

The Nano is already paired with the headphones and they are the last device I used with it. I turn the headphones on. Then, do I have to do something with the BT connection settings on either the Nano or the headphones or should I just be able to turn on the Nano, hit play and be up and running? If one of you already uses this combination, then I would appreciate it if you could just tell me the procedure each time you start using them.

If the Beats were last used with the Nano and are not near another device they have been paired with the Nano should auto connect. You merely hit play.

Thanks for the help. Maybe I am just not used to the on/off button on the Beats yet and am turning it on and back off or something. Or not waiting for the connection to happen. But, since the last device used was the Nano and nothing else is near, I should, then, just be able to A. turn on the headphones and then B. turn on the Nano and C. hit play on the Nano or the headphone button and the music plays. I will work on that.
