mms not available

I cannot send photos in messages for text messaging or receive photos in text messaging. I also went to settings and messages and do not see mms as an option to turn on since my update to IOS 9.2. How can this be fixed?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.2

Hey Marcie,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I understand correctly, you no longer see the option to enable MMS messaging on your iPhone 6s Plus since updating to iOS. You may be able to resolve the issue by updating the carrier settings as described in this article:

iOS: Updating your carrier settings - Apple Support

If there isn't a carrier settings update available or if the issue persists after updating the carrier settings, try contacting your carrier as suggested in the article below.

Use Messages with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

To use SMS/MMS, you need a text-messaging plan. Contact your carrier for more information.

Take care.
