I bought a new Mac Book Air 120GB - I set up my apple account, i added very few documents from my back up disk.
I received a notice recently that my storage is full - 80GB others & 15GBs photos. I cannot find these files in my disk or any where on the computer, very strange! I have not connected my iCloud.
My user folder size is 90 GB but barely no files.

Use the following link then scroll down to "All My Files".
After you enable that Finder feature, you can then sort on Size.
That will enable you to find the locations of those files.
Thank you, It seems that most of it is coming from my mail. It is automatically downloading all emails from years and storing them on the computer. How do i stop this and delete this? !
I have my mail set (in my e-mail Provider Web Page) to store e-mails on server, instead off on my mac.
Maybe that is something you would consider doing.
edit: that option is in Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors
