Trackpad on Macbook Pro does not work or respond

Trackpad on my Macbook Pro isnt responding from yesterday. I see few articles which point to heated/swollen batter ( located behind the trackpad). I ran apple diagnostics and there was no issue found .

Please suggest next steps.
