How can i change a name on my apple devices? I have multiply thAT ARE MINE, BUT THEY ARE FULLY USED BY MY KIDS?

It's not supposed to be locked. It should look like:

When you tap on it a new screen should open, and you should be able to change the name.

Is this a corporate iPhone? Provided to you by your employer?

Can you post a picture of what you see when you navigate in the Settings App to General->About?

The Name field there is editable, and I do not believe there is any way to restrict it from within the iPhone itself.

I Guess I misremembered.

JUst to be sure about where to change the device name:

tap the Settings icon

tap General

tap About

you should see the device name at the top

tap the word "Name" and the name should be editable, with an "x" to the right of it to erase it.

If you are certain that Restrictions are turned off, then restart your device: Hold down the Power and the Volume Down buttons at the same time and continue to hold them both down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Lock screen displays, go back to Settings>General>About, click on the name and see if it will then go to the Name field with the "x" at the end.

For iOS devices go into Settings->General->About->Name.

You can change it there.

For Macs running OSX, go into System Preferences->sharing->Computer's Name to change it.

what about the Apple Iwatch? How do you change that name?

Same general idea.

Open the Apple Watch App on your iPhone, tap on "My Watch" and navigate to General->About->Name, and change the Watch's name there.

How about on my iphone? The Name field does not seem editable.

Go to Settings > General > Restrictions and enter your Restrictions passcode. Have you set a restriction on changing settings?

The Restrictions passcode was on, but even after I disabled it, I was still unable to change the Name in About. Any other suggestions?

no, i do not see anything in Restrictions for changing settings - could it be called something else?

So, what, exactly happens when you click on Settings>General>About, and then tap on the name that is showing there?
