Slow-motion on the new fourth-generation remote???

WWill the fourth generation remote play your video content in slow motion?.. The old silver model would allow you to do that if needed but this one doesnt seem to have that capability for some odd reason. If it does it's not mentioned in the users guide or anywhere else as fell as I ve been to tell. Anyone care to offer a solution? The only thing I haven't tried is using the silver one on my fourth generation Apple TV yet Mimi assuming that this will not be compatible anyway. Thanks for any help people.....
