How do I set up multiple users on Garage Band?

I am using a MacBookPro and have had Garage Band installed for several years. We have multiple users that are using Garage Band as a tool to learn piano. Is there a way to set each user up under their own user names to individualize their progress? If so, what are the steps to setting that up and using it?

Thank you!

Have you tried to create a user account for each user in the System Preferences > User & Groups?

If each user has an own user account the lesson progress should be saved individually.

To create an account, open System Preferences, click Users&Groups, then click the padlock icon in the panel to unlock it, click the "+" icon to add a new account.

Unfortunately, I still do not see how I can individualize it within Garage Band.

GarageBand will store the preferences, the recordings, and settings for each user in the user library. Each user should find her or his "learn to play" projects where they left off when they are working from their individual user account. Does that not happen?
