are music downloads always at .mp4a 260kbps or is it also possible to get at higher quality

Using either Apple Music or iTunes Match provides you with 256 Kbps AAC files.

Hi,

ITunes store purchases are 256 Kbps m4a. There is no option to get higher quality.
