45 rt fg bv keys type together when one of the pair is pressed

Hi,

My MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) keyboard has recently started playing up.

My 45, rt, fg, and bv keys are not working properly, as well as the corresponding function keys following the diagonal pattern up and left.

When any of the keys are pressed it types both keys i.e. 4 or 5 -> 45 ... r or t -> rt ... f or g -> fg ... b or v -> bv.

It means typing anything involves a lot of backspacing, including this!

I'm using OS X El Capitan version 10.11.2. I have restarted and recovered from time machine from before the issue was apparent in case it was something installed and neither helped. It happens in every application including when logging in. The keys all feel fine and nothing was spilt/dropped etc. - problem just happened all at once.

Is this a hardware issue as I expect, or is there anything else I can try? I can't really afford the time to wait for repair as I need it to revise at the moment.

Thanks in advance
