Q: How do I restore my MacBook pro to factory settings

I Am triying to restore to factory settings my MacBook Pro of Dec 2011. I am using the the Disk Utility, however I recive an error message every time I try, do I caña do it. I found in the apple site that it can be that haré drives of 500GB can not be formated, it recomendó to make a partición of the disc, but I canta do it neither.

I Am not sure if I Am doping something wrong... Did anybody hand the same/similar issue?

Try to restart the computer and hit Cmd+R - that should take you into Utilities - one of the options should be to restore your computer
(You know you will lose all the data on the computer unless you have it backed up)

that is what I Am doing and where I recive the error message.... That is why I was wondering if anybody had the same problem....
