Why does Itunes download apps that have been deleted

When I start itunes it is always downloading apps that I have deleted from my Ipad.

This is a waste of time and and costly for those who are paying for data.

Why can't the downloads be stopped as the only option is to pause?

Itunes is version 12.2.2.35

OS :Windows 10 1511

iPad Air, iOS 9.2

I don't understand the question.

iTunes is not aware of what you delete on your iPad at all. If you have automatic downloads turned on, iTunes will download your purchases to the computer regardless of what is happening on your iPad. However, You can Turn this off in Store Preferences.

Not sure how this is related to Cell Data at all, unless your computer us connected to the internet using a cellular connection.

Perhaps you'd like to take the time to explain exactly what is happening.

I'll try to explain:

This morning I downloaded a game from the app store, played it then decided it was not for me So I closed the game and then deleted it.

I then started Itunes attached the Ipad air 2, clicked on my name in Itunes and it was downloading the game.

In settings I have all automatic downloads turned off.

So why is Itunes downloading a game that had been deleted from the Ipad?

Does that clear up the question?

That is your Purchased list. Its not downloading anything. Its just listing your Purchase history. Most of the Apps there should have a Cloud icon on the corner. That means they are available for download. Not that they have been downloaded.

You cannot remove things from this list, but you can hide them.

Under Edit > Preferences > Store make sure these two options are unchecked. Use Ctrl+B to enable the menu bar if hidden.

Close iTunes and delete any Downloads folder that is inside your designated media folder. Should things start to download by themselves when you restart iTunes then the remaining possibility is that the iTunes Store has a record of things that have previously been requested that have yet to be delivered. Only the iTunes Support team can flush that queue for you if it is necessary. Use https://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ to get in touch.
