Indesign cs4 and os x yosemite version 10.10.5

Can anyone help, I updated my imac to OS x yosemite version 10.10.5. I can't run Indesign cs4. Please please anyone know? any extensions, I updated my java, but not sure if its the right one?

It's so frustrating. I feel your pain. I don't have a solution.

I put a post on Adobe Support Forum. No solutions yet, I will share if I do. The funny thing for me, I can run Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4 perfectly on 10.10.5 However, Indesign CS4 won't work. It wouldn't launch when I migrated it from an old iMac to a new iMac. Then when I try to install Indesign CS4 it gives me this error message:

it's not a JAVA "problem" but when you launch Photoshop it will ask you to install it.


CD's are supported in 10.11, you just need the HW on the mac. If you don't have a CD device on your mac it's possible to target mode another Mac and launch the CD from there.

otherwise you can use a Mac with a CD reader to create disk images and copy those images over to the new mac, and mount them.
