Q: Cannot drag MP3's onto my iPhone *URGENT*

Recently downloaded podcasts as an mp3 onto my itunes, dragged them into album and created an album with them. I plugged my iPhone in and it DID sync. I tried dragging and dropping the mp3s into the iPhone tab on the left side (click here for the GIF https://gyazo.com/c1f8f660e51c3b6e0f3bb403c6bf5b8f) and it doesnt work for some reason. I have done this many times on my old computer and I have never had this problem before. Please help!

    Hello sunpear_,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand you're trying to move some new content to your iPhone, but you're unable to drag it over to it.  This information, along with you mentioning syncing your iPhone, indicates that you do not have manually manage content enabled.  With this option enabled, you are able to click and drag content from iTunes to the iPhone on the sidebar.

If you can't manually add or remove content from your device

Check to make sure that the "Manually manage music and videos" option is turned on:

    1. Connect your device to your computer.
    2. Open iTunes. Make sure that you have the latest version.
    3. Locate and click on your device.
Icon of iOS device in iTunes
    4. In the left sidebar, click Summary.
    5. Scroll down to the Options section.
    6. Click the box next to "Manually manage music and videos."
    7. Click Apply.

You might see a message that your device is synced with another library. This means that you've used a different computer to sync your device in the past, and iTunes can't sync without first erasing and replacing all iTunes content on your device.

Move content from iTunes on your computer to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Take care.
