REWIRE?

Does anyone know how to Rewire Pro-tools with GB3?

I tried opening PT7.1 , using PTR as the master and GB s the slave but GB doenst even show up on the plug-ins instruments section in PT. i tried opening up PT after launching GB and that didnt work. I tried opening up LIVE 5.0 after GB and that also didnt work. Finally I tried opening Reason Adapted 2.5 afer GB and again there was no synching going on. Anybody have any input on this?

You can't rewire GB into PT because both apps are only Rewire Masters. You can rewire Reason into GB or Reason into PT because Reason can be a Rewire Slave.

Also, if you tried to open Live or Reason as rewire slaves into ProTools and it didn't work, maybe you have a problem with Rewire. Try re-installing Rewire. You can download the latest version at Propellerhead website.

PT is working perfect with LIVE and Reason in Rewire mode. It's just GB with Live or Reason that wont work. ANd iM alunching GB3 first before launching the other applications. What do you think is wrong?

Thanks a lot! I went to Propellerhead website, downloaded Rewire 1.7 and installed it---------Now GB3 works as a Rewire host with Reason.

It was all about thar Rewire upgrade installation. Cheers!!!
