Hello

IS it possible for a parent to start and initiate a family group from a windows PC rather than an apple device ?

    I see you have a question regarding the requirements for setting up Family Sharing with your Apple ID.  Here are the current requirements for initiating a Family Sharing account. 

     

    Get started

    You can be a part of only one family at a time. Here's what you need to set up Family Sharing:

    • An Apple ID signed in to iCloud and iTunes
    • iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 8 and later, or Mac with OS X Yosemite and later
