I have two questions. Both are related to the 'My devices' section on my icloud.com.
My iPad is correctly shown under this section. It says the last back up was in June 2015, when in fact my actual iPad device shows it was backed up last night?
Secondly, my iPhone isn't shown under this section.
Can anyone help me please?

Is the iPhone's location services turned on? Also, are you signed into your iCloud account on the iPhone?
For your other question, try resetting your iTunes sync history -- If you can't sync contacts and calendars using iTunes for Windows - Apple Support, restart iTunes, plug back the iPad, and re-sync it and see what happens.
