Im trying to set up my new phone but it won't let me connect to the wifi, is there any way I could skip this step or is there anything I could do?

What happens when you try to connect to the Wi-Fi? Do you see an error message that you are saying it won't let you connect? If so, what is the exact text of the error?

What happens when to try to connect to wi-if? If you have an active cellular connection there will be an option to use that. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202033
