I'm trying to purchase songs since it shows I have a positive balance of $15 from a gift card redeemed. At the same time it claims I owe almost $30. How can both be true?

I have run into this before: I try to redeem a gift card and it shows the positive available balance, then refuses to allow any purchases because my debit card doesn't carry enough to cover them, even though I am not trying to use it! It won't let me simply erase the info and only use gift cards.

It claims AT THE SAME TIME that I have a positive balance (credit) of $15 available AND that I supposedly owe almost $30! HOW CAN BOTH of those things be TRUE???

And if somehow I do owe $30, why wasn't the iTunes gift card automatically applied to it?! It should have reduced this supposed debt to $15!

I don't have any more money now. I have no idea what my balance truly is, as I don't see how I could possibly have run up $30 on a DEBIT card. (At the time I was trying to get it to use another gift card I had redeemed, too!)

I'm tired of this. It has happened more than 5 separate times, and this time is the worst. It makes using iTunes increasingly miserable instead of what I've come to expect...if I do owe $30, I'd like to see the $15 I just paid applied to it. If not, I'd like to get past it.

Help?

iTunes gift card problem, again!
