iTunes 'Sync Photos' does not sync Live Photos

Recently I imported all my photos, live photos and videos off onto my Macbook using Photos. In the Photos application I can clearly playback the live photos but when I try to sync them back on my phone using iTunes the live photos turn into regular photos. I am using the iPhone 6s Plus by the way.

As you can see, I want to sync my photos from the Photos library and include videos and only the photos from the last 3 months. Problem is those live photos turn into regular photos when synced back onto my phone. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thank you!
