iPhone completely disabled. URGENT HELP

Hello, my iphone is completely frozen. The screen is black, and when it does suddenly flash on, i am stuck in the app instagram where all i can do is reply to texts through the notification screen at the top while still in the app, or scroll through the app. I can receive phone calls, but while the phone will ring and vibrate nothing will show up on my screen, except beloved instagram. To make matter worse, my home button only works 50% of the time, so I have accessible touch, and when i mash my home button in and hold the lock key to reset the phone, nothing happens. I've tried using the home button in accessible touch, but that does the same -- nothing. When my home button screws up and i mash the lock button, my phone goes into dark mode. It still rings, receives texts, notifications, etc, but everything is black. I've tried everything. When I hook it up to my mac and go to itunes to restore it, it says please turn off find my iphone in your settings on your iphone before restoring, hmm, how am I going to do that with a phone that won't even work?! I've downloaded recboot but when I hook my iphone up to put it in recovery mode, it doesn't even recognize it. I need urgent help, and honestly i've tried so much stuff that ANY help would be good. If I have to smash it in with a hammer for it to work, i'll do it, any help needed. Thanks in advance.
