For leather bands, Apple's cleaning instructions are:
- Wipe down the band with a nonabrasive and lint-free cloth.
- If needed, you can lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water.
- Leather bands are not water resistant.
- Soaking them might cause discoloration, skin irritation or other damage.
- Let the band air dry.
- Direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humid conditions can cause damage.

You may wish to consider purchasing a Sport band to wear when exercising.
Check your wrist circumference and refer to the Apple Watch Sizing Guide before buying separate bands (as they may have different lengths):
