"Put back" option (Trash) not there.

Hello,

I'm on El Capitan 10.11.2.

I just discovered that if I open the trash and right click on a file, the option "Put back" is no longer there (was there under Yosemite).

The option is also not displayed when pressing and holding the Option key and right clicking.

Apple writes in this:

OS X El Capitan: Delete files and folders

support article that the Finder should show an option "File -> Put Back" (when the Trash is opened and an item is selected).

However, in my case the Finder is also not showing a "Put Back" option (also not when I press and hold the Option key).

Anyone having a solution for this?

Best regards,

Hello,

just found out that the "Put back" option is only there for items I delete myself.

If the delete is done from within an application (in this case iTunes), the "Put back" option is NOT available (for whatever reason).

Best regards,
