Hi Everyone,
as of tonight, Israel finaly has netflix.
I do remember having the netflix icon on my apple TV for a long time, but tonight when it finaly because available here....I found out the icon I wanted to use so much has magicly disapeared.
how can I add it?
please advise

Are you sure that Netflix is available for the Apple TV in Israel and not just available on selected platforms in Israel.

I too have this issue so I contacted Netflix support, I have 2nd generation apple tv
they said Netflix should push for a software update and that it's important that I reached them so they understand it's worth while

I used chat support and it is very quickly it takes only a couple of minutes
There is a workaround - in your apple tv settings change your region to US (not the location of your itunes store). When you go back to the main screen of your apple tv, you will see the same icons as for the US, including Netflix. Then you login with your Israel netflix credentials, and you will autotmatically see the content allowed only for users in Israel.
